Originally from the Boston area, Skip has spent time living in Vermont, Mexico, Western MA, Cape Cod, Vancouver BC, and Los Angeles.

Towards the end of undergrad painting focus at the University of Vermont, Skip found a renewed inspiration in the art of animation (under the tutelage of Frank Owen & Ted Lyman). Before prodcing a 7 minute animated short entitled Lines & Shapes which later screened at the Brattle Theater 2004 Animation Bash in Cambridge, Massachusetts, he also began developing an independent comic book entitled Mr. Meteor or: How to Learn the Secrets of the Universe Using Finite Math.

In the fall of 2004 Skip enrolled in the Classical Animation program at the Vancouver Film School in British Columbia where he learned from some of Canada's finest animators such as Joe Gilland, Peter MacAdams, Dieter Mueller and Marv Newland. His film Mr. Meteor or: How to Make a Friend without Really Trying was an official selection at the 2006 Newport Beach Film Festival.

Skip lives and works in Massachusetts and continues to develop his own projects while referring to himself in the 3rd person.
